How to Onboard as a Seller
Learn how to register, validate your email, and start your business on patas.lk.
Step 1: Registration
To get started, you first need to create an account on patas.lk. Click on the Sign Up button located at the top right of any page.
- Enter your full name and a valid email address.
- Enter your phone number. You can change this later in Settings.
- Choose a strong password to keep your account secure.
- Review our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Click the Sign Up button to create your account.
Step 2: Email Validation
Security is our priority. After signing up, we will send a verification email to the address you provided.
Don't see the email?
Check your Spam or Promotions folder. The subject line will be "Confirm your signup on patas.lk".
Click the link inside the email to verify your account. Once verified, you will be automatically logged in and redirected to your dashboard.
Step 3: Activating Business Mode
To sell as a business and access advanced features like professional listings and store profiles, you need to enable Business Mode.
- Navigate to your Dashboard.
- Look for the "Business Profile" section.
- Click on "Enable Business Mode" to create your business profile.
- Fill in your business details:
- Public Url/ username. This will be your business URL and will be used to access your business profile from patas.lk/biz/username
- Business Name
- Business Description
Pro Tip: Providing accurate business information builds trust with potential buyers and increases your chances of making a sale!

Now that you're all set up, you can start listing your items. Click on the "Post Ad" button to begin.
