Create your account and get started
Register, verify your email, turn on Merchant Mode, and prepare your first Task or Gig.
Step 1: Create an account
Start by creating your free Patas.lk account.
- Enter your name and a valid email address.
- Add a phone number so people can reach you when needed.
- Choose a strong password and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Step 2: Verify your email
We send a verification link after sign-up. Email verification is required before you can post a Task or turn on Merchant Mode.
Did not receive the email?
Check your Spam or Promotions folder and search for an email from Patas.lk. You can resend the verification email from the app or website.
Open the link in the email, then return to Patas.lk and sign in.
Step 3: Turn on Merchant Mode for Gigs
Turn on Merchant Mode when you offer services. It creates a public business profile where customers can discover your Gigs and request bids.
- Open My Store from your profile.
- Turn on Merchant Mode and choose Islandwide or the districts you serve.
- Complete your business profile and save it.
Key profile fields to complete:
- Business name and public Gig link
- Business description and cover image
- Service areas, contact details, social links, and business hours
Tip: Clear business details and a useful cover image help customers understand and trust your Gigs.
Ready to post your first Task or Gig?
Use Post to choose whether you need a Gig done or offer Gigs. You can manage everything from your Dashboard.
